This Paper highlights how the design and implementation of Syntesqual was achieved. Based on the experience which led to the development of Syntesqual, we decided to develop more products which, though having the same matrix, would protect the skin better. The four experimental models we implemented are: Syntesqual Standard, Low Viscosity, High Viscosity and Jelly. Various tests were carried out on these models and the results are reported.
A brief history of the chemical background with regards to the best known mineral oils is given and information concerning the specific application of this product is provided.
